I've been recording voice-overs at Quid Pro Studio. Recently, we’ve seen an increasing demand of voice-overs in the studio. They are an essential ingredient in the creation of dynamic media.
New York, NY — The 135th Audio Engineering Society Convention (Thursday, October 17, through Sunday, October 20, 2013, at the Javits Center in New York City) was the place to be if you have anything to do with the audio industry. At show close, AES reported a 16% increase in registration since the [...]
This september I've been working as a sound mixer in the Digital Operations team of The Million Second Quiz by NBC. As they say: "The Million Second Quiz, hosted by Ryan Seacrest and airing live on NBC from a gigantic hourglass-shaped structure in the heart of Manhattan, is the first fully convergent television experience, where viewers have been able to download the show's game app and play along at home in real time by syncing to the live primetime broadcast [...]
One of my last projects was the sound design and installation of the art exhibit "Before The Sound" by Vincent Zambrano. The exhibition is being shown this september at Reverol & Co. "While seemingly ordinary sounds, [...]
This summer I have been producing a new CD at Casafont Recording Studio. It's been a pleasure to work (and to learn) with such great studio musicians such as Carles Pérez, Ivan C.Dach, Josep Cordobés, "Pepsi" Vendrell, etc.
I have the pleasure to present the first sneak peak of one of the projects in which I have been working for the past months, the sizzle of Rise of the Freedom Tower, directed by Kenny Simmons (Cool Hand Luke Productions). I am responsible for the production sound and the re-recording mixing.
These days I am editing the new album of a successful Catalan band, La Terrasseta de Preixens, Rapinyaires. Music editing refers to the process of adjusting the recordings made by each player. It's a hard and time-consuming yet crucial work. In this project we have adopted a new workflow method. The album is being recorded in Casafont, in the Barcelona area, 4,000 miles away from the US, and I am concurrently doing the music editing in my other studio in [...]

Since beginning of september I am working in a new and large shooting project: America's Unsund Heroes by Cool Hand Luke Productions. As their website says: "This groundbreaking documentary is based on 40 hours of footage captured on 9-11 at Ground Zero. “America’s Unsung Heroes” is told through the lens of a uniquely qualified filmmaker—a man who was courageous enough to arrive at the scene immediately after the first attack. It features the uplifting and heart-wrenching stories of the events [...]
